I've read through all the threads on running 4s on the Gt350R. I saw Billys posts about how he preferred 295/305 as a fitment on the R vs the 305/325. Now of course there is the option for a 315, but as I have read its more about tread width.

I have a personal friend that has worked with Billy and said, if its what he suggests I'd go with it.

Does anyone have pictures of them on a 350R? The ground clearance would be lowered just a tad but I thing negligible. Just interested in seeing what it looks like on the car vs the 305/325 or 315 setup.

Thanks.

I purchased my 2019 GT350 last winter. With 1,900 miles it still had the Cup 2's. I don't track my cars so my consideration is different. I sold the Cup 2's and put on 4s's - 305 all around so I could eventually rotate them. I also have 5 mm spacers, small but assists the aesthetics.
Looks fine so it satisfies my needs. Just what I have done - for others, who knows ?

Thanks, do you happen to have any pictures?

Hope this helps. Another view that I don't have would be looking down the side of the car at a shallower angle. If the car had a lot more hp, and noticeably less weight, like my C7 Z06 Corvette I would have chosen wider rears.

Since it was so hard to find any pictures of this setup, now that I have it all mounted up on the car and running on the Carbons I thought I'd post for those that are interested. I now understand why Billy Johnson recommends this fitment. They for sure are the closest fitment in a 4S to the Cup 2.

I measured on stock tires and the new 4S up front and did not lose any noticeable height at the splitter. Bottom of the splitter was exactly 4 inches off the ground as it was before and top of the splitter is 4.25 for those wondering. (These are all things I was trying to figure out while deciding on this setup vs the 305/315).

While the turn in is not as crisp as the Cup 2, it is much better than expected. I'm sure the slight stretch of the sidewall helps here. I'll write up any other driving impressions as I think of them.

So what sizes are you running exactly?

These will keep as close to the stock performance feel to the Cup 2 in 4S. 4S sizes run big (wide) which will decrease the responsiveness of turn in.
