When I was out of town for a conference, my younger son took my car out and took a bunch of pictures as Christmas present. Some are too big file size to post here, but this fit.

PHOTOGRAPH OF THE MONTH RESULTS​

The high voting photographs came thick and fast this month, with the top three revealed by the 3rd of the month. That's not to say that there were not some great contributions after that date too!

Congratulations to the January winner @WD Pro​

From memory this is the first time a macro photograph has won, breaking the myth that 'arty' images can't be winners. Very well done for breaking the drought! How apt it is for the iconic badge to be the feature.

It was an illuminating photograph that Andreas AKA @AndiObb submitted. The use of the available lighting gives the image a nice eerie, mysterious tone (below)

The shadowy and colorful fall/autumn tones contrast well with the stunning white pony in fabulous the image submitted by Dente AKA @BA939P to take out third spot. (below)

I think I just got lucky, I had only gone outside to take the rubbish to the bin, 30 mins later it was melted ! The car wasn't even clean and the photo was only taken on an iPhone.

Perhaps the happy season helped, especially after 2020 - A bit of snow and Christmas colours (Although need for green would have been a bit more accurate lol)

A feel the need for an Avatar update ...
