[Friend of Dorothy]

This week I was fortunate to be selected to be a participant in a ride day at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit organized by the Ford Performance Club, an initiative of Ford Australia.

I experienced speeds in access of 250 km/h (150 mph), and plenty of g-forces in the corners, in the passenger seat of a Ford supported Mustang that competes in the Supercars Series in Australia and New Zealand. An amazing experience; thanks Ford!

I took this photo from atop the pit building on the day. I think it highlights the lines of my Mustang quite nicely, and the colour certainly glows!

Congratulations to Dante aka @BA939P for the winning entry in February!

A fine rolling shot in the mountains (below)

Second place was a draw between Daniel aka @Keo_S550 and yours truly aka @Friend of Dorothy

Daniel's dramatic photograph was taken on a freezing Northern Hemisphere day, resulting in an almost monotone image.

Mine was taken on a hot Southern Hemisphere day, with the scorching Australian sun making Twister Orange look even more colourful!
