Hey guys, out of curiosity does anyone know if a Hellcat can run at AMP in Avondale? I know they have noise restrictions, and this car is loud. I was wondering if any of you have seen a Hellcat run there? I only ask cause its the closest place to my house and most of the events tend to take place there.

I’ve never heard one so I really can’t say. But I had to plug the loud pipes on my GT350 stock exhaust in order to get it to pass.

Stock? You should be okay so long as you have the factory exhaust. They may ask you to go through sound check though, but generally just give you a sticker if your intake and exhaust are factory.

I can't answer your question but I know how to find the answer. Sign up for a track day and go through sound test they perform at the beginning of the day. If you don't pass, all of your entry fees will be refunded with the exception of $20-30 for processing. My experience comes from running with NASA, a different club may handle it differently though.

OR, get a decibel meter and measure yourself. I believe the measurement is taken 50ft away. Many people use tailpipe diverts to pass sound.

Found a post you made asking this same question while doing a google search, lol. In that thread some one said it was 20dbs less than a C7. We had a C7 fail sound(around 103, but can't remember the exact) when the butterfly in the exhaust opened. He ended up not going full throttle around the sound station at AMP. Not sure how big your tips are, but we have guys that run turn down tips on their exhaust pointed away from the sound meter and it helps the guys who are close.

Car is stock and ya I've asked it before but never got a straight answer. Trying to avoid going and wasting time and money if it can be helped. Anyways back on topic, didn't want to steal the thread. Thank u for the input everyone.

BTW this car is frickin loud I have a hard time believing it's 20db less than a z06 but i guess I need to just pony up and test my luck. I apreciate the input.
