When I saw his post for 13,000 and minus 3000 for other work. I was thinking 10k is exactly factory msrp. I know I’ve read the process on how it’s done. Crazy really how much it legibly cost

Just OTT would be roughly $7K. I did the sides and had to have previous work undone.

I think it’s worth it if it’s what you want. It’s unique. On my ecoboost it wouldn’t be worth it but if I had a specialty car worth value, I wouldn’t hesitate.

So when I asked them originally what paint code they used, he said he just picked one that looks close. I think they just mix it in house. I’ll ask again when I pick it up tomorrow. Flying up there this evening.

Got back down to San Diego. Not the most fun drive as it took 8 hours (5 hours is more normal) due to heavy traffic. Went over 1k miles on way back, so it’s oil change time. Plan on doing that with a big clean up on the car. Clay, and needs some more polishing to get the paint perfect. The track armour left some residue and some small scratches that need to be worked out, but no rock chips.

Yes he really likes the plate. I actually gave him the front one. As far as Ken Miles he says that Hollywood played up his character in the movie. He was a gentlemen. He did have some strong opinions on things and the way he saw things. But he was always correct in his assessments. Some sometimes may not have liked that at first when working with him.

So for the paint code. It’s Axalta/DuPont #4483 Guardsman Blue.

Measurements I’d have to physically measure. They did measurements, but there was a lot of eyeing it apparently to ensure it matched the lines and that the taper was correct as the stripes do change in width as they go over the car.
For the side design I have this which is definitely getting framed.
