Interesting definition of Perfect.

My perfect track wheel would be a lot lighter if it cost $2700. And oh yeah, wouldn't cost $2700. ;-)

I dunno. $2700 for a set of 19 x 11 forged wheels is pretty low in my mind. I think $2100 for the 18 x 10 set is pretty good as well. You have to go to flow formed for much lower price.
I've had two sets of custom wheels for the car in my avatar. The forged magnesium 18 x 10.5 BBS wheels weighed 17 lbs per and cost $1500 each 15 years ago. A set of extreme high quality custom aluminum forged wheels in 18 x 10 were $3700 per set and weighed in at 19 lbs. The real question to ask here is the design quality of the wheels (stiffness). You get what you pay for. Their site seems to have a lot of BMW fitments. If interested, I'd check out some of the BMW forums for some feedback.

It didn't say $2700 per set (now apparently up to 2750). It said $2700 which I interpreted as per wheel. If it is per set it is not wildly over priced. Per wheel would be.

But it is still a bit pricey, and a bit heavy for that kind of money. Especially from a no name brand. My track cars have multiple sets of wheels, so overpaying for them eats up my racing budget very fast.

I like them, but you can get flow formed 19X11 wheels for way less than these cost ($270 per wheel) and the weight is only 3 lbs per wheel more. If you're just doing lapping days the added cost is hard to justify and if you're racing these aren't the right weapon.
