Florida drivers can be a little crazy. Last time I was down there I was a little surprised. I usually tend to drive close to the speed limit if I'm not familiar with an area. Right away I sped up to 10 mph over just because everyone was whipping by me and I think it's unsafe to have too much of a speed differential. And even at 10 over some people were passing going a lot faster. I was taking an off ramp and a guy came up on me super fast. Not a big deal; I just don't see it here very often on the roads I drive in MN. I did notice that on the side roads the Florida people were driving a lot more slowly.
