When I looked yesterday, it wasn't showing and another seller had it up for a lot. They might have re-added it. Originally I saw it on Amazon but I went to the deal and it was gone. Walmart has been up the entire time. Also, it's saying an April delivery for Amazon? My Walmart order shows up tomorrow.

Good catch. I didn't notice the delivery time. I just keep various oils and filters in my Amazon wish list and occasionally check their price. That being said, I find that Amazon typically under promises and over delivers on their delivery times (at least in my area).

I just bought 2 jugs of 5w20 for the GT, and 2 of 5w30 for the ST.
Hope the rebate comes through.

Ford FL820s filter was $6 at the dealer.

Out of curiosity wouldn't Mach 1 owners want to run 5w-50 instead of 5w-30? 50 is for track cars while 30 is more for daily driven mustangs.

It all depends on the oil temperature. Mach 1 has the oil cooler while my GT does not.

here is some Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-30 I got an alert on.

That's the normal price, at least for the past few years or so. Still a great deal nonetheless and even better with the rebate that's going on most of the year.

I ordered 2 of the 5w30 Ultra Platinum from walmart.com at $23.97, because they only had Platinum (not the Ultra) in the store. They sent 0w20 instead because apparently they are out of stock in the 5w30. Most other places are wanting upwards of $40 for the Ultra 5qt jug, but the Platinum is readily available at WM for only $20.97. Is there really that much difference in the Ultra? I'd like to take advantage of the rebate offer, but I question whether the Ultra is really worth paying nearly double the price when the Platinum is still 100% synthetic oil, and also qualifies for the rebate offer.

I saw that too, in the 5W30, the detergent counts are higher in ultra, including Boron and other anti wear additives..

I wish I had the same data source but don't.

That said, I was able to get the Ultra. I am partial to oils with high boron counts for the coyote, this is probably a silly idiosyncrasy on my part, and I can't prove my thoughts here empirically.

Boron is at 201, impressive. That is more than the Motocraft Syn blend at 179.

According to that oil thread, we had someone do oil analysis on their factory fill oil, and it came out at 224 in boron. I'm of the school of thought that Ford like many other manufacturers puts in additives for the first fill, this 224 number points to that.

I plan to do a blackstone report on my factory fill, at about 5K. That factory fill has gone through two track days and has been topped off with 1/2qt of 5W30 syn blend. I wish I had taken some oil out originally as the virgin factory fill. I will report back the findings.

Wow even compared to the full synthetic motorcraft, the pennzoil has a much higher boron count

I've heard the higher boron count helps with the infamous tick or rattle after reading a few posts versus using Ceratec. I don't know how true that is or not but I ran this stuff before all that talk even started just doing my own research on how this oil protects.
