Is that because Castrol paid them to say that? Not trying to make this an oil debate because they're never ending. Ford themselves will also recommend their synthetic blend too.

Yeah, I typically only buy it when I get some kind of alert on a deal. Oil changes are cake with this car because I just nab 2 jugs of this and call it a day. As I always tell everyone, do your research online and you can make an informed decision on what oil you want to use. I figured I would help the Pennzoil people in finding a good deal especially in times right now.

Pennzoil and other SOPUS oil for around $20 is good in general, they sometimes run rebates on them as well.

Might get flamed for this but me personally I will be changing my oil often with Costco Kirkland oil which comes out to $12-14 for every 5 quarts. Made by Warren distribution and it is pretty stout. Oil samples came back good on all my others cars and I have a heavy foot.

Out of curiosity wouldn't Mach 1 owners want to run 5w-50 instead of 5w-30? 50 is for track cars while 30 is more for daily driven mustangs.
