Good choice. My P1X at around 650+ whp can scare the crap out of me at times. Enormous power for the street on DOT tires.
Thanks again! My last 2 blower cars (‘13 Boss, ‘19 A10) were Whipples. Your experience with the centri/A10 and Terry’s advice made it a no brainer. I wasn’t even looking for the cheapest system. I considered everything from the ESS Tuning kit to a top mount Hellion.

They all have pros and cons but in the end it comes down to how you’ll mostly run the car (street), not might run it (1100+/8’s). My first mod was Nitto NT555r2’s/BMR Drag rear/minimal drop fronts (blower will add drop). With the lesser hit from the centri it’s the better option.

You’ll be happy. I made 800+on a little baby self contained head unit.
nice! Bought my first Vortech in 1997. It was a S-trim. Then stepped up to a Y-trim, then the huge Mondo X-trim. Funny thing is the X trim only made 869 (no intercooler back then). I’ve seen this (baby) V3-JT make that and more 😄

Finally they finished the car, ran into some issues with the 8 rib, covid, and just about everything else. It made 876 at 15psi in 5th gear, density altitude was around 1300 yesterday; I asked them for 850-900 and no more than 15 psi. On point, we'll see when I run it if the dyno was stingy or not. I will say, I would not describe it as lazy lower in the powerband; maybe crazy. I didn't get much time with it today, and way to many cars on the road. Started collecting parts for a motor build so I can spin it up.

dyno is just a tool. i never get hung up on dyno #s, hit the track and see mph, that will let you know if its making power
Agree 100%, hopefully sooner rather than later.

So I have a 19 with a stage 2 p1x with a full exhaust, fuel system, 3.55 pulley on e85 and the car made 930 wheel. Drivability is perfect, just make sure your tune is on point.
