When I place my hand on the drivers door handle. It used to.

Any ideas? It will open if I use the FOB or the passenger door handle.

I think you have to go through the main dash cluster menu and change the setting so that you can also unlock the passenger side in the same manner as the driver side.

I don't remember seeing that option. I'll look again.

Is it in forScan that you know of.? I did reset the steering module.

Thanks.

There's an option in the dash menu whether the driver's side handle or the first push of the keyfob button should unlock both doors, or just the driver's, the idea being that if you drive alone 99% of the time, then there's no point in wearing out the passenger's side motor for no reason.
I don't know by heart where exactly it is in the menu, and I don't have access to the car right now, but it must be something like Settings/Vehicle/Doors/Unlock, or similar.

From the 2020 manual but I'm guessing the logic carries over :
