Has anyone researched & executed a PP1 to PP2 conversion? Wheels, tires, sway bar, etc.? Please advise with your insights, and what you learned about cost. Obvi the magneride is big bogey, but maybe more importantly what about the other bits?

Ignoring Magneride, a rear wing, "track calibration", and assuming the PP1 and PP2 sway bars are the same (?), it appears that there are something like $4,800 in parts to move a PP1 to a PP2. Using the following unedited/checked list:

Front Wheels – 19 by 9.5 (two): $374.99 * 2 = $750

https://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-pe...015-2017-ecoboost-gt-2015-2022/p/M1007DC19-V/

Rear Wheels - 19 by 10 (two): $379.99 *2 = $760

https://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-pe...015-2017-ecoboost-gt-2015-2022/p/M1007DC19-V/

Front splitter: $719.95

https://www.steeda.com/ford-performance-m-16604-mpp-front-splitter-kit

Tires: Something like these – $1,800 to $2,124 summer or

Summer

Or all season: $1,827

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tire...3!537118804928!!!u!293946777986!&gclsrc=aw.ds

A Steeda "build your own" suspension kit for springs and sway bars is about $800. It’s not clear to me if the sway bars are different between PP1 and PP2.

Also gets “Track Calibration” – not sure how achieved.

See this article for understanding the parts differences:

It's gonna be a lot easier when you tell us exactly what car you're starting with.

That's a lot of time and money for very little gain. Personally, I'd look to steeda or bmr and build the car to handle based on how you plan to use it. It will probably be cheaper and definitely handle better if done right.

PP1 & PP2 sway bars are different. Front wheels are 10.5" wide, rears are 11"

You don't get the Magneride calibration from BMR or Steeda. That has to come from Ford.

You have a 2016 PP1? Does't that splitter only work for 2018+?

OP wasn't concerned with magnaride. He said that in his inital post and excluded it in his parts list.

Starting with a PP1. Could be a ‘15-‘17, but more likely an ‘18 or newer. Hypothetical exercise at this point.

Can you elaborate on that? Is it programming, or mechanical adjustments/tweaks?

Are you trying to stay true to Ford and say you have an "authentic" PP2?

Or are you trying to get similar performance of a PP2 out of your current PP1?
The latter. And I would never misrepresent a car, if that’s where you are going.
