I just installed the Anderson Composites Vented Fenders and carbon hood on my 2020 GT500. Fitment and quality was as good or better than factory. The stock fenders weighed 10.8lbs each and the carbon fiber ones were 5.05lbs each. High quality pieces and look forward to testing them at Road America. Ill post up a video of fitment and overall install process when I get that done.

I like to disassemble things.
Chuck, can you post up shots of the fender liner mods you did?

I cut out only where they originally planned a cutout. I will tweak and adjust as needed when I do more testing. That like running back there is the washer line.

Luv the look!
Since the weight savings is nominal with CF here, is anyone making these in steel which I'd assume would be significantly less and still look just as nice?

This picture is from the front looking back?
The cut is basically the top outside of fender liner?

Back looking front. Still need to test out and make final cuts if needed. Then I’ll mesh the inner fender liner too.

I am not knocking the product, the installation, or the fender liner modification. This looks great for the track cars. However, for street vehicles, particularly driven in the salty Rust Belt, I’d be afraid of rusting out the frame and sheet metal area from tire splatter during or after rainfalls. For the older folks in the room, the 1976 Plymouth Volare/Dodge Aspen no-fender liner debacle will sound familiar. If someone made a molded fender liner that covered the exposed metal but allowed for the vent flow, I would then consider this.

It’s mostly a track car. Only thing with the factory fenders are the lower parts are steel and mine were already rusting out.
