67xxx miles, mods in sig. Had clutch replaced a few weeks ago. Still in break in period. Was working on isolating a "tapping" sound that occurred from 2000-3000 rpm (think I found it). Had car on jack stands, turned on and it ran fine. Lowered the car down, car went into limp mode when I was going to go for a test drive to see if I fixed the tapping sound (all warning lights came on), then completely lost all electrical power. Before power was lost, I was able to read a P0339 DTC. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor (if you ever do it, remove battery tray and heat shield....much easier method) and inspected all electrical wires. Power came back on, but now when I push the start button, the engine will not turn over and the starter keeps engaging. Tried doing a crank relearn, but unable to do so since the engine will not turn over. Any suggestions?

Would a bad starter cause a P0339 code to pop up? I inspected all of the wires going to the crankshaft position sensor and they looked good. Is it possible the sensor I bought from autozone (Duralast) was a complete piece of crap?

Did you do a crank relearn immediately after replacing the clutch?

I had a performance shop do the clutch install. I need to call to see if they did. Car ran fine for the 2 weeks I drove it after the install.

Since you just had your clutch replaced and a lot of things were removed and replaced & wiring harnesses moved about, I would check all of the harnesses. Also, make sure all of the grounds were hooked back up. Check the circuit the crank position sensor runs on. Inspect the connectors and associated grounds. A wiring diagram would be helpful.

I would go with a Ford replacement CPS over a Duralast... that's just me.

As others stated, check all wiring harnesses that were touched, check grounds and any wire harnesses from the starter. Make sure the CPS harness connector is not damaged (pins inside connector) and make sure the harness itself was not damaged within the conduit, even if it "looks fine" externally.

It's possible the starter has failed. Had it happen on some prior Fords and same thing - the starter was trying to engage without "key on" due to solenoid failure.
