Update: cel won't stop flashing and there's clouds of smoke coming out of the exhaust

Looks like the piston rings are done?

P0308, p0300 p0307 p0171

About to give up...

A few weeks ago I got p0308 cylinder 8 misfire. I changed the intake manifold thinking that could be it - it wasn't and the code still remained. The other day I got p0171 system too lean as well and now have p0307 for cylinder 7 misfire. I just changed the spark plugs and I did a pull to 5k rpm and the p0308 came back
ALSO I'm getting a positive knock all the way up to 10 when I step on the gas
Mostly it's positive, but will still show negative sometimes... Could it be a false knock?

The check engine light also flashes when it idles and has a bit of a rough idle

Next I'll replace coils, but could it be anything else? Does it have something to do with my tune?

Or is my engine just done...

Thankful for any help

I would do a compression test and go from there.

Very strange because p0171 is passager side and p0308/307 are drivers side. O2 sensor would be my first guess Without looking at the car. Maybe fuel problem but not coils. You ether have too much air or not enough fuel to get p0171
What is the vacuum gauge reading?
Can you check fuel pressure?

The misfire codes means you should probably to a computer test before anything else but a p0171 can sometimes be a header leak.

im gonna put my money on your tune. Get the car checked then retune it If nothing can be found.

Was the car running fine and then started developing the problems? Or was the problem there right after a repair or a tune or something?
Showing knock is absolutely normal with the misfire. If it was running fine before it started developing problems 99% Chance it’s not the tune.
What you really need to do is move the spark plug, coil, and the injector from 7 and 8 all to different cylinders and see where the misfire goes.
If you move the injector to cyl#1 the spark plug to cyl#2 and the coil to cyl#3 and the misfire starts developing on cyl#2 then you know that it was the spark plug. If it moved to cyl#3 then you know it was the coil. If it doesn’t move then it still helps with diagnosing

Do a crank relearn with your hand held tuning device..
