It's nice, clean, not gaudy. base Mustangs have never had a particularly aggressive look, I expect that will be reserved for the higher performance models

When will we be able to see this render brought to life by Ford? Our sources have indicated that we will see the S550 in December with the car being teased in the next couple of months. So stay tuned Mustang fans, it's going to be an exciting end of the year!
I didn't pick on on this, given the rush to see Chaz's renders. Hopefully we're no more than a month away from the first teaser :headbang:

I would have loved a more hunkered down, more aggressive look. I don't see a "stunning" rear end like someone had said. The rear end seems to be nothing more than an update of the current chassis. This looks too much sedan like.

And sorry to those who are not impressed with Ford's new design.
1st, Thanks for the great rendition.-->:coolphotos:

You have nothing to be sorry about, I bet your very close & the final will surprise (I Hope) but if it keeps that look...I'm out!

It has nothing to do with renders run amok. There were crazy renders in 2003/2004, and in 2009.

It has everything to do with the car taking on a corporate look, and based on the models, looking like a warmed over S197. MOST people were expecting a bigger change than this for the 50th.
You do realize that the Fox Mustang was also very much a corporate face design right? Taurus, Escort, T-bird.....

Getting crushed with actual work here at work.(ha) So new renders won't happen today.

Thanks, guys. And sorry to those who are not impressed with Ford's new design. Just remember, these renders are my impression and interpretation of the materials I had. I'm sure I got some things a little off. Some more than others. Believe me, if any angle or crease is off just a tiny bit, it throws off the whole gestalt. The real car will obviously be even more refined and pleasing.
I'm very impressed! Once again thank you for all your work on this! I'm curious if the tinted taillights will carryover or if it'll be limited to the 13-14s. Either way your render looks great. But I'd like to see it with black wheels and tinted tails. Kind of like the FP6 appearance package on the 14.

I eagerly await the release. I could go for a more aggressive version of that car, but that is a great jump off point.

Also, please tell me the fake filler door is going to be gone, or easily removed?

Ya, Chazcron, thanks for the great render. Very well done.

Just remember that comments about the look have nothing to do with your craftsmanship. They are just comments about design features.

OK, I think we need to get a few things straight here.
As far as I know:

-I'm pretty sure these are not based off any official CAD files. The description is poorly written. Chaz used the spy photo's to extrapolate and construct a 3D model in Animation Master. This isn't Solidworks, Catia, AutoCAD etc…. its basic 3d modeling software.
I am not devaluing Chaz's work.... it is very impressive., but he also has also had very little to go on. I have done a fair bit of 3D myself in Solidworks, maya, modo and many other older packages on a professional level years ago. I would love to see what Chaz could do with MODO and I'd love to help if I had more time.

-While this may be the "best" render yet, its still an extrapolation.
The b-pillar and 1/4 window may be getting close, but the greenhouse and rear end is still all conjecture.

-We have definitely seen prototypes in different stages of design.

-as chaz said, when using his methods of extrapolation it is easy for one tiny detail to throw everything off.

That said, while this is a lot of fun and gives us a idea of what the car looks like, I expect the real thing to look significantly different. It is great to have a 3D model that can be manipulated instead of a 2d photoshop, but this is NOT another case of a highly accurate render based on leaked CAD files like the C7.

Anyway, good work

I really doubt the rear looks like this. It looks like a s197 that had its taillights angled differently to give off the louvered look.

Chazcron, your CAD skills are awesome. This looks like a real car.

As far as the design goes, I'm a little underwhelmed. I can't quite place it, but the whole car seems too flat. I was also expecting more from the rear. Nothing jumps out at me that says, "Wow, that's hot!"

At any rate, I'm hoping the reveal will not disappoint. We shall see ...

Thanks for the renders!

Yes, I remember reading in an interview that the Faux Gas Cap on the rear end was going away.

BTW Nice Work Chaz, but correct me if Im wrong, these Cad Files you used to create these images were Cad Files You Created using Spy Photo's and insider information, not Official Cad files like the Leaked Cad Files we got of the 2005's right?
