I put a set of Hurst quarter louvers on my bullitt, they look amazing and really want them to stay.
I did all the prep work, (wipe down, adhesive promotor) but looking at them from the inside of the window they aren't entirely seated. It could be due to the larger chrome trim on the bullitt.
What other options besides the tape are there for securing these? from what I'm seeing there are suction cups all the way up to drilling into the window.

I wouldn't recommend either of those. I can't imagine suction cups would hold well enough if the VHB isn't doing the job. If it's just the included tape, make sure you're using VHB tape. For extra security, maybe run some silicone as well.

I’ll take a look at the vhb specific one as I was just using what was included.
I also saw silicone or other auto glue like rhino. I will probably use a combination of vhb and adhesive.

Lou, what did you end up using on your Side Window Louvers.?
Still waiting on my Mustang, long story.
Puchased some 5 bar Louvers on Amazon and I am modifying them with some aluminium mesh to give that old GT350 look, so they will be a tad heavier than normal.

I ended up using gorilla construction adhesive, seems to be holding up fairly well, it came in one of those large caulk tubes.

Thanks, was thinking along the same lines. Have used a similar Soudal product called TREX on a previous project car.

I have the, installed. Looks stock. Here’s some angles. It’s not a small job. Especially if you want tints. But it looks crazy. Glass installer is required. Stock oem windows come out. These replace them.

Yes. It’s an exact window replacement. The louvers are independent pieces of gorilla glass through and through. If you’re gonna tint. Tint prior to install at only a place comfortable tinting without heat though. But it’s not a cheap mod. Price of glass. Price of tint. Price of window install. You have to really want these. I love them though.

Had a LE 50th anniversary car on today’s cruise. Forgot how great those windows looked. Now if I only had a spare couple of grand to spend. :giggle:

By the way I guess the manufacturers logos do come off?
