I know many of you like other cars, trucks, bikes, boats etc. show us what else you all enjoy in motorsports, classics, resto etc.
I have a all original 1956 Ford F100 with all the original paint, interior, drivetrain, suspension etc. it has the original 272 Y block V8 4 speed and 4 wheel manual drum brakes, manual steering, vacuum wipers, no radio, no AC, no power accessories. I can't bring myself to restore this truck because of how original and clean it is. I do have 3" front drop springs and a 3" front drop I beam axle for the front to lower it 6" in the front and also a 4" drop spring for the rear and I can relocate the rear spring mount 2" to also drop the rear 6". I also have a 292 bare block and crank that I thought about boring and stroking to a 337 I have a brand new old stock Edelbrock Tri Power intake and 3 new stromberg 97 carbs and also a set of mummert high flow Ram horn exhaust manifolds. A MSD distributor, Edelbrock mechanical fuel pump, a set of rare New old stock Edelbrock aluminum finned valve covers, and a set of 312 hipo 4V heads. The only problem having this much power in a vintage truck like this is well......the handling is like a garden tractor compared to a modern truck, it brakes well with the 4 wheel drum brakes, but also compared to a modern vehicle it's ok. But to have a stock hp of 178hp and a modified built engine in the 350hp range can be scary lol. I had it up to 90 once and that was enough for me. At 70 mph she buzzes at 5500 rpm lol. that's a lot for a 4 speed 3:73 gear F100. But I enjoy it a lot. It gets more looks and thumbs up then my 2016 GT350. I call my truck LEO = leave everything original. What I like most is its simplicity
