Forgive my ignorance, new to all this but ready to get busy. I have read many posts about OPG/CG but haven't been able to find why you need to replace the balancer? Also why would you go 10% O/D or 20% O/D? I am sure there are posts about it I can't find them. Thanks in advance for the reply or PM.

for n/a car, 0 reason for o/d balancer

for some blowers like vortech / paxton / whipple / roush / vmp, overdrive allows larger pulley on s/c for less belt slip
