complete rubbish and bald-faced lies from Marketing. Does 8000 or more units in the first year constitute 'limited' to you? Or maybe just 5-6000 because of delayed ramp after 2020? Or did you forget the /sarcasm tag?

prepare to be VICIOUSLY disappointed.
I disagree.
The old mach1’s, bullitt’s, and Boss’s all fetched more than the regular gt.
Also they were harder to find in mint condition years later.

Total Number Of 08/09 Bullitt's Produced: 6582

you're going to see that many each year and probably a lot more because the equipment on a Mach1 is actually interesting and has some real colors vs the Bullitt, perhaps tempered by the asking price. The S550 Bullitt run was 12,000/2yr. The selling price of new Bullitts cratered in late 2019/early 2020 to 15% off despite no factory incentives. The Bullitt doesn't command much of any premium today in the used market.

I think it’s a little early to tell on the 19/20 Bullitt.

perhaps. But have you CORRECTLY calculated the depreciation and currency debasement as applied to the supposedly appreciating 2008 vintage?

And this blows the “1,000” theory out of the water... here’s M1 Chassis Build #1,174:

https://vmp.ebay.com/ebay/viewAllPhotos.aspx?smid=39171838

As @shogun32 stated already, the new M1’s aren’t going to be “rare”... and just as the S550 Bullitt, Ford is going to roll out a few thousand. People thinking these are going to rake in big $$$ like their Classic predecessors are not dealing with reality. Maybe in another 50 years will these be worth more than what some people are currently paying MSRP+ADM...

Limited doesn't just mean how many are produced...........it also means how long they will be produced for.

The Bullitt was limited to 2 years ('19/'20).......the Mach 1 will be limited to 2 years ('21/'22).

73k sold Mustangs in 2019, 61k in 2020. If they sell 5-6k x 2 years it will be rare enough. USA is a big country. And here in Europe it'll be super rare (thanks EU...). They didn't specify a fixed number so expecting 1-2k cars only would be silly. 4k for USA and 2k for the rest of the world seems lot more likely.

Hello All,

Just talked with my dealer on ordering a Mach 1 for this year and they said they have been told that because of the shortages there will only be 1000 Mach 1’s made for 2021 and they will be mainly customer orders. This is a good size dealership that sells a lot of regular mustangs and Shelby’s and they said will have no allocations for this year! Has anyone heard of this?
Chassis # 937 is posted on another thread in this forum. Early in MY to be ending production. I don't believe it.

Here's M1211 in the dealer's video:

Wonder if I'll have M1136 as says the order, but probably not when it was supposed to be built just this week and these are already at the dealer's.

Have not read the following responses so this might already have been touched on. However, like the Mach 1, the 1st PP2s were a late release (spring 2018) so only 1,500 were produced. Weather may also come into play. Not well versed on all things Mach 1, but if they come w/the Michelin PSC2 (or upgraded equivalent) tire, Ford will not produce them when temps drop below 40 degrees. This (in addition to the late market entry) would ultimately lead to fewer Mach 1 Mustangs being produced. The temp issue would also apply to the Shelby.
