Has anyone got an Aluminium one piece drive shaft on their car here in the UK? if so what did you go for and where did you get it from.

Thanks

Hi Dave,

We have a build of Carbon Drive Shafts on the go with QA1 and going to come in around £1500 inc VAT. These are expected to be with us by the end of April. Although a little bit more expensive than DSS by a few hundred are said to be the best option on the market.

Aluminium shafts don't work well with the S550 platform due to the drivetrain angles and need that element of flex when going one piece so it is not something we recommend or will sell.

Hi Guy,

Thanks for the response, I originally looked at the QA1 but due to cost ruled it out and starting researching Aluminium Driveshafts and drive train angles to correct any issues. I was actually going to give Phil a call to see if yous could get hold of the Dynotech one as that seems to be the best Aluminium one out there.

Do you know what the weight is of the QA1?
