^^These, the car accelerates and pulls through revs a bit more freely, effortlessly.

The rotating weight reduction is worth exponentially more than static weight reduction. I was able to measure .15-.2 sec ET reduction and maybe 3ish mph gain (I tested before and after, all other things the same- but NOT on the same night- so DA's different, track prep, etc...)
Good to know, that's a pretty nice improvement still!

Snapped a pic of mine while I was under the car today. Looked pretty and the label was lined up perfect lol

I ordered a QA1 for my 15’ manual back in December to replace the DynoTech I previously installed and I finally got around to installing it last week. All I can say is wow what a huge difference over the DynoTech. Absolutely no NVH (in my opinion) and it feels like the power hits smoother, almost like there isn’t the initial shock that you feel with the aluminum. If you consider the cost over the aluminum I feel it’s worth it.

Did you by chance weight the oem drive shaft?

My QA1 CF DS finally came in last night. Will try to get to the install tomorrow and compare weights.

Got mine in this week on Tuesday too. Weighed it on the scale with adapter and it came out to 20.5lbs
Nice did you compare to stock as well?

Are these Shaftmasters alum driveshafts the same diameter as OEM, or bigger? In case I ever buy one, I'd like to be able to still use my Blowfish bracket (It doubles as a driveshaft safety loop).

Scroll to 3:54 "they all fit"

Hope that is true. I run the BMR DS safety loop and it's tight to say the least even with shims.

I went ahead and ordered an aluminum Shaftmasters today.
Did you receive and install that Shaftmasters unit yet? I'm curious as I only see a 2018 version on their website and my understanding is that Ford changed the Mustang driveshaft flanges from 2018 to 2019.

QA1 doesn't have a 2019 CF shaft available yet.

No, I've been so busy with work that I haven't had a chance to. Hopefully this isn't the case, but I did let them know I had a 2019 when I ordered it.
I was understanding that the flange had changed on the A10 cars.
That and other driveshaft companies offer shafts for the 18+ MT82.
Ford also has the same driveshaft PN for 18 & 19.

Got the QA1 CF DS along with the DSS half shafts on today. Stock DS was about 29lbs. QA1 21.4.

I can tell you despite the added weight of the beefed up axles installed and the OEM DS and axles in the trunk the car is more responsive and just revs faster. Looking forward to taking it for a real drive after rush hour dies down now that all the extra weight had been unloaded.

How was the install on the DS? Simple enough to do on jack stands?

That’s one of the best gains I experienced. The Coyote 5.0 redlines in an instant. It truly transforms the drivability. The shifts hit hard, fast and controlled.
