What a sad travesty for a revered Mustang performance model...it’s mind blowing to me!!:doh:
Ford should have passed on the Bullitt and created a 2018 PP Level 2 based NA 5.2 CPC Mach 1.
What are they smoking in the corporate suite?

Will be very closely following the release of the 2019 GT500 with what appear to be some variation of the ‘15-‘17 headlights...the cash is waiting.:ford:

You come up with one will.

How bout we try to really accomplish change:
Come up with an alternative name that is so badass Ford will have to use it instead.

First, Start off with a premise and context for wtf this car represents.
ie: Mustang design language and epitome of Ford design and execution capabilities. The Mach1 project is as important to Ford as the GT.
It is as important as the Cayenne, Panamera and Macan; most importantly, as those vehicles bring in revenue that aids selling the 911 (once nearly discontinued)... ...and those vehicles connect design language that was driven by the 911, and now support the 911. (think 996 and later).

Myself, aint got anything good yet, but think Mach1 is not strong enoigh for what this effort represents.

FYI Said Deep (Head of North America Product Communications at Ford) is reported as saying if there's enough backlash from the Mustang community Ford would consider using a different name for this electric SUV. Thus this forum, thus the petition.
