How are the oil temp with a supercharger? Procharger,VMP whipple etc. Are the temp rising higher, faster then normal when your really pushing the car?

oil temp won't change unless you are boosting around on a road course. there is no boost (or very little if you have a roots/screw) when you are just cruising around. you can't stay in it long enough and often enough to have an issue on the street.

Is your car a PP? I have bean on it very hard and the most I was able to get the needle was to dead center. It normally coasts on the colder side.

Same theory here as the head temps post in the other thread.

Not until this car did really any american car and the c7, did really ANY american car come with an easy way to monitor these temps. However I can say that the temps are MUCH lower then many common Euro, and Japanese built sports cars.

With more HP comes more heat, but small rises are A-OK. :)

Yeah mine is a PP. Long tubes, x pipe, tune & JLT cold air. Mine have definitely been past dead center. Cruising long trips no problem. but once i start getting on it, it starts to rise

100% normal. :)

Just be glad its not a older Euro car, they can sit at 240-260+ oil temps just cruising down the road. :)

Fewwwwwwwww! Lol thanks. I'm like, ah shit, what I gotta buy next lol. Next mod I want is a charger. No more 1000 dollar bolt on for 5 hp. I'd rather spend the next dollar on something that's really gonna have an impact.. Going back between procharger and TV blower. Y should I go procharger?

Bang for the buck with the ProCharger is huge.
Room to grow for days and days, and so so easy to install.

Just did another one last week before leaving for PRI, 4 hours start to finish. :)

Im guessing for roll racing they would b pretty powerful without a lag of delay since you'll b in boost around 4000 rpm right? I keep hearing people say it's not as instant as a TVS. Does the TVS run out of top end where as the centrifugal keeps climbing?
