I recently performed an oil change on my 2019 Bullitt with Gen 5 Whipple. Immediately after the oil change, the oil pressure gauge spikes with even moderate acceleration, holds for a few moments, then immediately drops back down.

First thought is a faulty oil pressure sensor, but why did it correspond to the oil change?

The gauge did not act this way before the oil change.

My gauge does this all the time after I change the oil. Not sure why, but I haven't really worried about it.

Is there a time frame it continues to do this before returning to normal, or is it the new norm?

Mine does it for about 100 miles, and then settles down. I also have a Whipple and run 5w-50 per Whipple's recommendation.
