I gave reasons why the factory installed bolts might be better at holding their initial torque and be more resistant to backing out. Never claimed it was specific to any particular bolt on the engine.First paragraph you said the “factory loctite”
He gave a general overall of a fresh clean build vs changing something.First paragraph you said the “factory loctite”
That's my take for sure - as I suggested they should have been found in the skid plate - maybe - but all 4 bolts just VANISHED INTO THIN AIR - POOFEngine builder made a mistake... either didn't tighten them or forgot them altogether. Instead of owning it he blames the voodoo vibes and pro charger. Lame.
Can someone make a comment without the next guy thinking the worst? I made a statement noting that none of these bolts have thread locker to also let OP know that they don’t require it and the bolts coming out because of “voodoo vibrations” from the shop is a BS excuse to cover themselves. Calm down. In your own words “Maybe relax”.He gave a general overall of a fresh clean build vs changing something.
I read the paragraph as the bolts that have loctite, not all.
Maybe relax before jumping on a non issue…..smh…..can forums ever be productive and helpful instead of know-it-alls tearing apart every single sentence..
