I already know this (if this was intended to me). But it seems too many people are mixing up the 350/350R and the 500 in this thread and everyone is getting confused, which is why I stopped responding.
All good. Didn't catch the 350 vs 500 mix up. Only noticed that there seems to be a misconception that the GT350 and GT500 use different filters, which is not the case for 2018+. GT500 has always used the same filter as the 2019+ GT350, and as of 2019 Ford advised that the mid-year 17s (when the canister replaced the spin-off) and 18s also use switch to the 2087. Guess misery loves company. Hopefully, oil filters will start falling from the sky soon.

I inquired when buying one this week in Canada... there was 2 available in the US and over 70 in Canada. Was also told that Ford has restricted there distribution. My local dealer has me covered so far as I'm the only car within 1000 miles of them...
Any add'l info why they are restricting distro?
KB if the dealership in Canada said that Ford is restricting them from selling it to you, its bogus, its the dealership you called that wont sell it to you because then they will be in the same boat you are in, I had several places tell me that in the US when i was calling around.
