shit scares me. I love to follow the builds, but they have more balls than I do. if ford offered a 700hp block/fully assembled engine with a canned tune, for a set price. better believe id buy it. but actually doing it myself, and putting my faith in others is just so hard.

You're putting your faith in *someone* no matter how you slice it. There's always the risk/reward to balance.

Got another hour or so in and got the bumper/crash bar off. Next will be intercooler and charge piping and draining the AC to take that out. (Gotta figure that out)

I tried looking but couldn't find the 2017 one that wasn't 200 dollars lol

well the motor is the same as a 2016 (which I got) so for the purpose of this rebuild should suffice just fine.

So it has the step by step for the engine too? I thought the service manual was different from the Ford tech one!

Yeah mine has step by step for all major procedures including engine teardown and rebuild and looks to be the actual FSM.
