Dude! You’ve been holding that out? Nice!! I had an 04 GT 40th silver convertible premium which I loved. Nice car! Loved that body style even with the plastic interior.

Thanks, it was definitely one of my favorite Mustangs. I still like the new edge cars, they have good styling.

Given your username and cars listed, would love to hear your review on the M1 and how it compares to the 718 GTS 4.0. Prior to ordering a M1, I was looking for a 718 GTS 4.0 however its just outside my budget (esp w/ ADM)..
The Cayman is easy to drive because of how connected you feel to all the inputs. Porsche's EPS is the best I've ever driven. The car itself is small, light, responsive and has power now thanks to the 4.0 motor that makes it very fast and very nimble. But like all Boxster/Caymans the gearing is very tall even in PDK form. To really enjoy the car (and hear the engine) you need to slamming gears at redline which is only legally possible on a racetrack.

The Mustang is harder to drive due to it's more numb steering and it being a looong car and heavy. But it is more rewarding to drive. It's a beast on the racetrack and in Mach 1 Handling Pack form just grips and grips and grips. I run with TC off where I wouldn't dare in the Cayman. Really encourages you to push it. The exhaust note is also awesome and the sound can be enjoyed at lower RPM in street driving and just cruising. The gearing is much better too.

tl;dr Cayman is easier to drive but needs to be revved out. Mustang is more rewarding to drive and can be enjoyed just cruising.

Very interesting, and not that surprising I guess. To even be compared against one of the best non-GT porsches (in my opinion), says a lot about the M1. Awesome that you get to enjoy both!

Edit - just saw you have a GR86 as well, damn!
