Welcome!I am new to the forum. I bought a new 2021 Iconic Silver Mach 1 three weeks ago. We always name our cars, so my Mach 1 is "Chuck." He is named after General Chuck Yeager. "Chuck" is Chassis number 6192. He is pretty basic, having only voice activated navigation, red brake calipers and Recaros. I wanted Eruption Green, but I could not find one without a $5,000.00 market adjustment, which I would not pay. So, Iconic Silver looks a lot better in person than I thought it would and I am happy with it.
Like a few others on this forum, I grew up in the late muscle car era. I got my driver's license in 1971 and my first car was a 1974 four speed, 350, Camaro. Since then, I have had two other Mustangs, two Challengers and of course, the Camaro. My wife had hoped that she had "aged" me out of the muscle car phase. We are close to retirement, but in my mind, I'm still 18. So, when she told me no more Mustangs, I told her I had developed "Advances Age Onset Muscle Car Deprivation Disorder" which causes severe depression and hallucinations of wild ponies. I also told her it could only be cured by letting me buy another Mustang. She decided that if I was so desperate (or odd) as to make up a fake mental illness, she had better give in. She is a wonderful person!
I enjoy reading about your Mustangs and I look forward to spending more time on the forum.
