The Tesla Model 3 performance performs just as well and weighs less than 4100 lbs. It's hard to understand 5800 lbs.
And its faster, and its cheaper

I am not looking forward to all those Mopar fans putting exhaust on that V6. :puke: And If I wanted a fast EV I would go Tesla no doubt not Fiat.

Lets see how long Dodge lasts this time before going out again.

I had to double check but to put that in perspective my Gen 2 Raptor (2017 Supercrew) was 5,900lbs 😲
That's hilarious  They have redesigned the FAT cat to be even heavier.

The Model 3 is Tesla's small car, and a Model S looks quite a bit bigger next to it.
I didn't look at the numbers but I suspect the Charger EV is at least as big as the previous Charger chassis, +1500 lbs of battery.

Edit: The new Charger is bigger than the outgoing Charger in every dimension.
Height has changed the least. Length is up 6".

Comparing it to the s650 Darkhorse
-Better quarter mile, probably slower around a track
-Faster on street at low speeds. Slower on the highway, barely.
The thing is, that top end model is most likely going to go against the next 500 Mustang...not some lowly DH version which is more geared towards cornering than straight speed. I can see a 800hp Mustang being able to keep up with that thing. Heck I'm pretty sure the outgoing 500 can take it.

Well, the 11.5 quarter mile time is for the Scat Pack. That's why I compared it to the Dark Horse.

The 500 is a competitor for the Hellcat. I highly doubt the Scat Pack with 670 hp is the top trim of the new lineup. It's just the best thing at release.

Yeah the current GT500 is definitely faster. It can touch mid 10s stock and its trapping 130+.

Based on the 0-60 and the quarter mile time, this scat is trapping in the 100 teens.

I don't think there will be another 'GT500' or any Shelby at all. At least not for the 650. I think it will be something else. Think, Boss 302.

“2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack will cover quarter-mile in 11.5 seconds (estimated) and is still unsurpassed in quarter-mile elapsed time (ET) of any muscle car”
I find this statement to be doubtful to say the least.

But the Model 3 looks like a squished turd.

The Charger/Challenger aren't my bag, but I can see why people like the looks of them.

5800lbs is still nutzo.

This claim is based on the 1320 package you could previously get. Remember it didn't come with the non-driver seats (you could add them for a dollar) and it had factory drag radials. Ran the quarter-mile in 11.7 seconds at 115 mph

Faster than any factory N/A Mustang or Camaro.
