Not convinced myself there'll be any MY18 weight savings after extra safety options, new clutch, additional interior trim, etc are factored in - especially here in the UK where our wheel options have previously been so limited. Then again, there may be some significant weight savings to be had from a much lighter wallet - swings & roundabouts eh!

^^ Exactly. As much negative stuff being said about weight gain since 2015, if Ford was smart enough to lose some weight on the '18, they would definitely be bragging about it by now. I'm guessing an apples to apples optioned auto weighs more. :doh:

The A10 is only around 6 or 7 pounds heavier than the outgoing A6, if I recall correctly.

The cars themselves won't be getting heavier. The Coyote might get heavier due to the extra injectors, but it won't be dramatic.

All told an apples to apples A6 GT to a A10 GT might be a difference of 15 pounds at the most.

I took the liberty of copying the photos that Topnotch posted as the Imgur links were broken. I also did a bit of cropping.

I have to say, it looks fantastic in white.....and looks great "out on the road". I assume this car has the "blackout" package.

Clearly though, this is one if Ford's show cars, so I wonder why it appears to be out on a road on its own!

The top pic shows the worst angle for the 2018 IMO where the lights look awkwardly low and the roof drops off like a cliff. Very droopy and unaggressive.
