Thank you op , being a 30+ ford tech it is nice to see some appreciate what we do . Some dealers service department will hire anyone with a pulse . It is hard to hire a good tech . I am the shop foreman at a small dealer , all the techs I have work together. This is a hard find in this biz . I have been with the same dealer 33 plus years , 4th owner and the best so far . If you want the best service ask to talk to the tech , the service writer won't like it , and being a teacher has I don't like being pulled off the job . But it does benifit both the customer and the tech . The funny thing is when a customer bring in there svt , and you srart talking to them , they find out that you are part of "science " it all changes . I have customers that have 350 r and when they find out I drive , a daily, north of 750 rwhp car mustang . There becomes no issue that it will be beet on . Some of us techs treat theses cars better then our own . Pic below of one of my favorite cars I have got to fix ........noticed I said fix .lol oh and the last pic was a 350 I brought home to detail , I detail guys aren't the best .

in the last 30 years I have purchased 8 new Fords (7 Mustangs and 1 Explorer Sport)...from 4 local dealer ships here on Long Island....I would like to say something positive....but I can't.

For some reason I can't search beyond 10 miles from my location but it does remove 2 dealers from my area if I apply the filter.
Like I said, I don't know what standard ford uses to certify a dealer to be an svt dealer. Could be send one salesman to some seminar or only need one of their techs to take a 15min online course/read a supplement.

For owners in the Denver CO area I have had great support from Phil Long and Auto Nation Ford dealer ships.
Just make sure to talk to the service manager and request one of the Shelby techs. One time after making this request the service manager changed who was assigned to my Shelby. I only went to the service manager because I got the impression my service advisor was not going to follow through with my request. Any way I now know who to ask for, it's not a problem unless you are putting them under the gun for quickest turn around time.

Galpin gets a vote here, they have treated me and mine like VIP 's unlike JCF who lost ALOT of $$$$$$ on our GT500 and Ranger purchases this year. Why can't we have nice things?

Well Fred I did give them a chance and they blew it, wanted to play games and argued amongst themselves if they even had an allocation (GT500) and not sure they ever got one on their own. I did see Charlon order a 500 for a San Fran customer, don't know any more details. JCF has sold 350s and Bullitts for sure and is worth the try.
I went through AAA Conceirge service and at the time Galpin was no.1 in the world and had over 25 allocations back in Nov.
Long story shortened, we got a car in record time but paid 25k in Arrogant Dealer Markup.
WORTH IT...NOT SORRY!
I you need any help with Galpin, I seem to have an "in" at that shop now after our spending spree.
