Someone commented in one of those articles that above 150 some harsher penalties kick in and that the chasing cop used the number 149 to not pile on what was already going to happen to him. Personally, doesn't sound right. I don't think a cop would engage in such a protracted high speed chase of someone they knew where he lived and worked if they weren't pissed.

I was just thinking it could have all been avoided if he just bought one of those hideaway front plates that didn't require drilling lol
