Hello Gang,
I need help. I sold a wing, and despite excellent packing, it got damaged. I insured this, of course, but need to prove the value of the OEM Gt350R Wing off of 2020. Do any of you work at ford or a company with the catalog price for this product? I need to show proof of value for my claim...

Please help.

The above appears to show dealer price. According to White Bear Lake's parts website for that part number, MSRP is $12,015.68 and their "sale price" is $8,686.03.

Kelly - when you get that payout, make sure you point your buyer my way, if he's still intersted in one :)

Correct, but it's the only price available for this part in the Ford System. Not sure if what "proof" is needed for the insurance claim, but actual Ford data should be indisputable. Maybe submit a range to the insurance company? $7,238 to $8,686? Obviously it's best to use the higher figure to ensure replacement.

Ok, thanks, Ill send both, I didn't insure that high so they won't pay a claim that high but it's worth a shot.

They will pay what you insured it for - they are just trying to make sure it's a realistic price, as some people will try over-insure items for insurance fraud.

Curious how this will turn out. Keep us posted.
I ran a business for a few years that would require shipping wheels every so often. Our FedEx National account was way cheaper than anyone else we could find but the customer service on claims was pathetic.
Please let us know who the carrier is and how their ā€œinsuranceā€ works.
