I'll bring down the average of this thread
I wanted a coupe but the other half wanted a vert, we ended up renting a vert in Florida and when returning to the UK we bought a vert. Even sat in traffic with the roof down it still feels special, popping the roof up is just like being in a coupe. Most people in the UK drive at a constant 40 mph (40 in a 50, 40 in a 60, 40 in a 30...) and our roads are small and busy so over taking is either pointless because you can see the next 40mph train of cars just up the road or simply no opportunity. Cruising with the roof down changes that frustration, it becomes a special event.
I wouldn't change the fact we have a vert but I might be tempted to chop one of the other cars in for a coupe.
