Oasis report help

New member here. So glad I found this forum. Lots of great info!

I test drove a 2018 GT350 last week and really like it. It's currently for sale at a local (non-Ford) dealer.

I've asked for the oasis report from the Ford dealer who did all the service (per carfax). Predictably, they refused to give me the report unless I was the registered owner.

Wondering if someone here can help me get that report? It would be greatly appreciated.

Jon, my recommendation is this.

If you are within driving distance from your local Ford dealership, I would head over and ask to meet with the Service Manager and discuss your potential purchase of a 2018 GT350 that they had previously serviced.

I would explain to him that you are looking for some help regarding obtaining an Oasis Report for the vehicle that you are interested in and if you went forward with the purchase of the vehicle in question that you would commit to servicing that vehicle at his dealership.

Based on the above, I would like to think that the Service Manager would comply with your request and if he/she doesn't provide you with an Oasis Report I would be somewhat shocked.

Good luck with obtaining an Oasis Report and also with the potential purchase of the 2018 GT350 in question.

Normally, Ford does not hand out the Oasis reports as they contain information about the previous owners and does not switch until a new owner is established. I would definitely do what @pp001 recommended and hope they oblige you! Otherwise get IN WRITING that they assure you nothing serious happened, I.E. like they replaced the motor or something!
