Iā€™m wondering the same thing as well. Hopefully weā€™ll get a install video or official specs/dimensions soon.

Hopefully the throttle body angle is the same. It would suck if the current CJ intakes don't work.

Iā€™m kind of dumb in this area so Iā€™ll just ask if Iā€™m stock with a Roush CAI and a Lund tune will I need to re-tune with this manifold?

Or is this manifold mainly for people with super chargers?

i am curious how much of an increase I would see if I swapped the 2018 intake for the new CJ intake. I am making 686rwhp (Steeda Dyno Tuned) with Vortech V3. Or should I just go for different cams and hope for a great sounding idle as a bonus šŸ˜Ž

I interpreted the internal memo incorrectly and was told they are to be in stock this week.

We have limited details from Ford at this point so we'll start to look at these questions closer once we do some testing.

Chances are - yes, you will need a retune if you plan on running this with your current set up.

The car might pick up a little bit of peak HP, and you may loose a little bit of torque. Essentially take your dyno graph and move it a few hundred rpm to the right. it's not as simple as just swapping intake mani's. You'll need a whole new TB. Your current chargte piping probably will not fit that will have to be changed as well.

Afterrmarket cams will not chop unless you lock out the VCT or have the tune make them chop

Would this be considered an upgrade from the GT350 intake?

Sorry to ask again but any updates regarding clearance vs old cj now that theyā€™re in hand? Found specs on previous CJ says it measures 10ā€ base to top in the rear and 9ā€ base to top in the front.
