Hey guys, I just purchased a set of OEM takeoff wheels + tires from another Mustang owner on Facebook.

I've never been a mechanic car guy, so please feel free to educate me on this topic. I just have two questions:

1.) I don't have any tools so would it be okay if I used the emergency jack? (Intended to change flat tires/the one included in every car)

I wanted to jack up my car and change one wheel at a time in my garage with no other specific tools.

2.) How important is it to torque the lug nuts? Would it be an issue for me to just fully tighten it with the given emergency jack/wrench? Do I need to take it to a shop to get my lug nuts torque tightened?

Thanks for the help

you can do that just putting someone behind another wheel so the car doesnt move .. and you can just tighten them really well youll be fine most people can get over 80 ft lbs of torque with just a breaker bar.. tighten drive it for a bit like a few days and recheck them

You must have more trusting friends and family than me, they make me put something in front of and behind a wheel as a chock.
