This morning we visit a local dealer. His explanation was, the window should be aligned. He made no testdrive and he sayed we should do it ourselves....

Great job!

He should find another job...
OK so I figured out what mine was and I feel dumb. When I'd hear this noise and reach my arm up to touch where I thought it was coming from and it stopped, I figured the issue was up there.

On a whim I undid the leather strap that holds my seatbelt, and the noise is entirely stopped. I guess when I reached up I took tension off of the squeaky part. Drove around all weekend without it attached and I didn't hear that sound at all. So maybe try undoing that strap if you haven't.

Maybe take the car to the speed it is heard.

Shift into natural let the motor idle, coasting.

Suspects: Still hear it body, not hearing it drive train .

I'm starting to think theres a loose screw in the dash. Oh a common one, The driver side footwell has an aluminum looking rectangular box. Thats the amp, in the gt350, that has been known to cause rattles.
video on it.

I believe this has a high chance of being ur solution

@Freedom Thank you so much. We have seen this video. We want to check the amp in the next 2 weeks. Our job give us too little time for driving our Mustang "Lea" ;-(

Hi Guys, greetings from Germany again.

The amp wasn't the issue.

A guy from the german mustang forum mentioned the heatshield near the catalyst.
He changed his exhaust and had a noise "same" as ours...

Birdmaster,

I'm interested to see if you are able to find the source of the issue. I have a 2020 GT PP1 401A A10 with a build date of 7/20 and Im having a very similar sound on my car when the RPMs are running between 1500 to 3000 with light to moderatethrottle tip in. The car only has 600 miles on it currently and it did not exhibit that noise for the first few hundred miles. It seems to resonate more depending on the exhaust note.

Its definitely not the 2k rattle. Every 18+ GT that I have driven has had that sound. Mine did it the second day I drove it lol I mostly notice the 2k rattle in sport mode with very light throttle. In Drive I dont notice as much since it requires more throttle to get the car moving and the DI kicks in more. Still love the car minus the creaks and rattles. My 6th Gen Camaro SS had the rear diff groan when cold and the defroster windshield fog issue, so theres always something haha.

@Jason555 Thank you for your answer.
It is very interesting you have the same noise.
Yes it seems to resonate more depending on the exhaust note.

Normal we can hear it, more in Sport+ and most in Race mode.

You drive the A10, ours is a MT6.

I think there is a vibration on the headshields under the car.

If you have a solution, please tell us.

Our Mustang has winter time, we drive it from March to November. Here in our german area the winters are sometimes very hard, so December, January and February no way.

Our vehicle registration has 03 - 11 ;-( bad times...

Best regards from Germany to the USA,
Birdmaster

On the video on post #1, the noise sounds like the 2K-rattle. But since OP says it's not that noise, then I'd put the phone where the dead pedal is, to here if it's coming from the area where the amplifier is mounted.

I went on a long 2K-mile trip a couple of weeks ago, and where the ashpalt is coarse as hell in the TX Hill Country, there were rattles absolutely everywhere, and they were driving me nuts. Fortunately, on less crappy asphalt, only the regular rattles remain, which are the right 'C' pillar, the driver's side door panel. They haven't bothered me enough to tear things apart to look for the sources, but if they were constant, they would. Curious what's the conclusion of that rattling noise :).

I located a severe rattle in my Bullitt. The driver’s side dash panel defroster vent cover. I found it by wedging my fingertips between the door and said cover. Noise goes away and comes back when I removed my fingers. This does occur around 2K-3K rpm.

My Mustang is rattle city. I have never owned a car with such poorly put together interior and materials.

Thank you all!

After 12 months of noise when accelerating, we solved it.

A guy in our german Mustang forum had a similar noise.

On the driver side, near to the exhaust pipe a pressure line sometimes touched the body of the car.

You can see the pressure line on the pic over the heatshield going down to the bottom of the pic.

We hope it works for other Mustang drivers too.

Best regards from good old Germany ;-)
