Posting this here in the main area so those that are signed up for the 2nd day school make sure they do everything they can to make it out!!
I am going very soon for my second round of Track Attack School (went once for my GT350, 2nd time for my R) and I was told by the School that they are phasing out the BOSS 302's at the end of this year! The Boss 302's will not be going to North Carolina and it appears they will be using Mustang GT's for the second day going forward.
I don't know the age of the current Mustang GT's they are using, but when I was there last year they seemed to be a few years old, so I would assume (but may be wrong) that they will be modifying some of the newer GT's for use at the North Carolina location. I was told they would not be full-on race cars like the BOSS 302's, but like the current GT's. :(
I'm glad I opted for the 2nd day again, the first time was so much fun and the full-caged Boss was well worth it! Sad to see them go but they are getting old.
