I have been checking autotrader every day and I dont see a single car thats 2019-2020 with recaro seats. Did Ford not offer this as an option for those model years? Is there a different way of finding used cars? I bought my RS from autotrader but maybe mustangs are listed elsewhere? I also see less than 100 cars all the time.

the recaros were the standard seat for the gt350 but it seems like the overwhelming majority of people opted for the leather trimmed sport seats. as time goes on I think the recaro equipped cars will have a premium value.

When I first started looking I had a tough time finding comfort seats, now its flipped.
The deciding factor was the Mrs saying no after she climbed into an R. Kind of bummed because I wanted an R but now that I’ve lived with comfort seats for a year, I’m pretty pleased.

I'm sure we all window shop at the local dealers when they have something in to look at. I literally cannot tell you the last time I saw a Recaro car on a new car lot.

Funny it was the opposite pre-2019. I had a hard time finding a car without the Recaros.

yep, I enjoy perusing dealer lots when they have new inventory. from a dealer standpoint the LTSS fit everyone and there is more profit to be made.

When I was searching for a new 350 late last year/early this year when there were still some left, I struggled a lot to find any with recaro seats. I think only 25-30% had the recaro seats and a couple dealers I spoke to said that most were looking for without the recaros (hence the shift in build numbers). This was a deal breaker for me. I picked the seats over the color of the car, even though my dream was to have an orange one.

Most Americans will not fit in the recaros. I agree it seems the majority for sale have the standard seats.

I’m 6’4” 235-240 and I fit. Getting in and out is another story though. I don’t fold up like I used to.

By 19/20 most of the GT350s were being ordered for dealer stock. If you see O/T 2 on the window sticker, it was a stock unit. Dealers generally check every box and load them up to increase the price of the MSRP, especially when they are getting only a couple of them. It’s unfortunate as the recaros are a better fit for the car’s capabilities.

I ordered a base 15' GT/PP with Recaro's and after several years of ownership I was looking to trade up and replace the Recaro's with sports seats. Eventually traded for a new 19' GT350 on a dealer lot. I was actually looking for a base GT350 with Recaro's as I thought those seats should be in a track ready vehicle, but the one I was looking for (white/no stripes) had the sport seats. Since I had already experienced the manual adjusting Recaro's from the GT/PP I have grown to appreciate the sports seats for what they are and the comfort they give. If the OP is dead set on Recaro's then don't give up looking.

2020 GT350 Heritage Edition - Engine Build 6/24 #2 of the day, Stamped 7/13, Final Production 7/16. Technology Pkg + cover only. The rest stock as wanted. L0176 "Mollie"
I was lucky - the only one I wanted was a HEP with stock recaros and the tech pack - nothing else. Very hard to find anywhere in the country. I found one about 60miles away and grabbed it! I had to take the cover which was a sticker listed option, but well worth it.

My 2020 came with Recaros. Very happy it did. Fit me perfectly.
But yeah, friends over 200 lbs don't fit as well as I do....
