I sold my supercharged '06 GTO in July of 2015 and ordered my '16 two weeks later. It fit 4 adults pretty comfortably but I had to do a good amount of suspension mods to get it to drive like I wanted. Tire size was limited too.

Right, but they donā€™t float with price. They have quite a bit of stickiness at whatever the high water mark is. Point being that prices stay inflated at the pump far longer than oil prices would suggest.
You re 100% correct. As someone who used to manage one and see the margin profit/loss on a daily basis, they react up as soon as the price increases per barrel.. and when the barrel drops, they milk the margin for a few weeks before slowly dropping it down.

sure. but with all the gas apps the distortion doesn't last very long at all because some operator will drop their prices first and corner the pump-traffic. You'd have to get the operators to collude but that would be illegal.

In my area Sunoco and BP are the most pricy, by a lot, Wawa is usually the ALMOST cheapest and a no-name place is a few cents less. Some reason right now. Sunoco, and BP are a few cents less than Wawa and the no-name is like 30c cheaper somehow. Yet NO ONE is going to the no-name place, everyone is going to wawa.

Either prices are going up extremely quick or my gas app in my car isnt working correctly as I was searching for the cheapest place and each one was 35-40 cents more than the app is saying. I ended up paying 4.09 for mid grade which is more than I've ever paid for premium. When I got home it was a little less, but too late then. I'm sure it's just going to get worse for the foreseeable future if this Russian thing continues.

no-name is probably cash money only (mine is) and everyone goes to WAWA for the samiches and the coffee/drinks and the pleasant('ish) staff.

Around $7.3 for a gallon of 93 here in Ontario, Canada.
At least it's looking beautiful sitting in the garage šŸ˜„

Yea, I totally scaled back my driving a tad. Not much, but definitely changed my driving habits a tad. I also blend in 2 gallons of MS109 (105 octane). So my average is near $7 per gallon US.

I have had a sportbike on order for 6 months, Iā€™m really thinking about canceling that gas guzzling 93 eating bike. Zzz
