nGauge Alch Learn Flag

I just got a flextune on my 17 GT. For the immediate future, I am just running 93. I drove around and finally the learning flag flipped to 1. Shut it off for the night and the next day it was back to zero. This happened against the next day. Finally the car started with the flag but went back to zero after I shut it down again after a drive. During this time, I have not refilled the tank as I read that will cause a reset. Is it normal for the alch learn flag to keep resetting like this?
