At first I looked at it and thought it was a little too bland. Then I thought about it a little more and I'm glad they didn't keep the crying Alice Cooper eyes on the tail lights like the C7 'vettes have. I think it's ok from what I can see. Styling is not the most important thing if the performance and value is there.

I'm really looking forward to hearing more about this car. I hope the price isn't sky high, because I'd love to have a base version in a few years. There are a few reasons that I'm not as interested in the C6 (ugly) or C7 (d.i. and roof). But if they don't put a manual transmission in the C8 I might be stuck with my C5 for a while.

Yeah that's the C8. That is fugly. As someone on Jalopnik said, "Looks like a Camaro backed into a Pepboys"

Judging by the latest Camaro refresh and the new Silverados I have absolutely zero idea why anyone would get excited for ANY GM product period.

I dont give a damn how fast it is if its that ugly.

It would be be like having the best tail in the world but would have to walk around with a bag on it in public...............

Depends on whether how you look is more important than enjoying the car you are driving. Some people are more about performance than appearance. But I agree there have been some real styling missteps recently. I think the C8 is going to be good looking.

GM really needs to clean house in their current styling department....or those that are approving styling.....

I don't mind them as long as they do something. However, I bet in the lower models they will be blocked off and you have to pay extra to get openings rather than block offs. At least in the C5 GM put up the money to do different body panels in the lower models that didn't need the extra vents. Lately they just have blocked panels everywhere.

The image above looks very close to the render below that has been out for a while now.
