All,
I want to start by stating that I am a first time Mustang owner, and really a first time N/A v8 motor owner as well. I of course told myself that I would take it slow with this car, and as we all know that was a lie. I bought the car (2018 A10 GT) at the end of April brand new with 43 miles. I now have 6,000 miles and have a completely new rim and tire set up, suspension mods, exhaust, and a tune. Long story short, I am going forced induction in about 2 months. I have done my fair share of research, and as much as I love the turbo feeling (I come from the BMW crowd, previously had a 400+rwhp N54 motor) and know they are the preferred route for massive gains. I also understand the Pro Charger has more of a turbo power curve, but have heard great things about the power on demand with a supercharged set up and I love the fact Roush and Whipple are willing to warranty their product. With that being said I have never owned a supercharged car, and have narrowed it down to Roush Stage 2 and Whipple's new blower for the 2018. From what I gathered the Whipple is supposed to have a great new cooling system. I'm not looking for anything like 800-1000+ as this is my daily driver. I would like a nice 700 or so which looks attainable with the right tune on either blower package. As the date gets closer to me pulling the trigger on this thing, I would love any thoughts that anyone with experience with either package could give. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
