Perhaps. I am running version 3.0 from the day it was leaked with zero issues from day one. Aa is flawless for me and I use it 100% of the time.
Same here, though to be fair I did go from v1 to v2 then v3... Though the other night I disabled CarPlay on a cruise (so I could use the regular NAV system in no-signal areas) and the CarPlay and AA menus disappeared completely from the head unit until I got back home and power cycled the system.

Guessing typo and meant "not". If that's the case, I've had occasions where the option menu didn't show up until I actually plugged in a device with the Android Auto app on the phone, or an iOS device with CarPlay.
Heh, that's exactly what it was, on both items. I didn't know the phone needed to be plugged in order for it to work. I thought bluetooth was enough haha. Thanks!

I realized after failed attempts on the 2.3 from ford my gracenotes doesn’t show up when you go under the info under the settings tab. How do you get that back. Do I have to find someone with a 2.2 revision and redown load 2.2?

strip out the -BB lines from the autoinstall.lst file and try again.

Just for the hell of it I downloaded the 3.0 non nav link from the first page here onto my other thumb drive and it worked fine. Installed perfectly the first try. Grace notes (whatever they are) appear now when you look to see the version number.

Reflashed 3.0 several times and that fuggin wifi message wont go away. It comes up TWO TIMES and my radio is always defaulted to off. I've even done a full reset. Oh well. Price I pay.

Someone posted this guide a few months back. Step by step:

WIFI popup fix

*You must have a WIFI network to connect to. I used my phone as a hotspot.

When WIFI window pops up:
1 Enable the hotspot on your phone (or be able to connect to a trusted wifi)
2 Touch view networks on screen
3 Connect to your hotspot/wifi SSID
4 Once connected goto Settings > General >Automatic System Updates
5 Press > Scan for Updates Now

Last checked for updates will show the current date and time. Thats it.

I also had to forget the known network, first.

Yeah, doesn't work for me. I'm having bad luck.
