the direct links are on first page, make sure u pick the right MY, 16 or 17, and both are for nav units so hopefully urs has nav

No, mine is non-nav. I've been trying to download the update from the ford owners site, but no joy there. It says the update is available, but it won't download.

I was going to post the same thing. If you don't have a 2018 Ford, don't bother checking ... and it doesn't look like it's on much else other than an F-150 right now anyway.

... I've been trying to download the update from the ford owners site, but no joy there...

uBlock Origin was blocking the download. Disabled it and was able to get the 2.3 update from the Ford Owner site for my non-nav Fusion. It's a bit late, so I think I'll install it on the way to work tomorrow.

Once I have that done successfully, I'll do the GT350.

Edit: Went ahead and tried the 2.3.1 update tonight. It started, got part way through and said "oh, you're already updated. Remove the USB drive and Sync will reboot." Still getting the "connect to complete" message. Sigh...

CarPlay is indeed very nice. Apple Maps is okay, and is working pretty well for me, but it's not as good as GM.

I'm surprised to hear that there is a big difference between CP and AA. I'd thought they would be roughly equivalent.

Has anyone successfully downgraded from ver3 to ver2.3?

I tried last night and it 'said' it upgraded but after restarting, it was still at ver3.

I downloaded 2.3 directly from the link on the first page for MY16.

from a previous post you cannot go from 3.0 to 2.3, you have to go 3.0 to 2.2 to 2.3
