Updated a 2017 mustang with Nav, took about 15 minutes. The UI is a little snappier. And the CarPlay Ford app logo changed from black to blue.

Working fine on a non nav system with i phone 6 plus.
But i m not able to see the sygic navigation software on the car screen.
May be it just work for US cars ?

I wondered that too, I think Ford is not on the list yet, only few makes for now:shrug:

Didn’t see it on mine for US. I may need to download the app first on my phone and will be one of the apps that can be used from my phone.

SYNC 3 VERSION 3.0 RELEASE !!!!!!


The time is now, welcome welcome welcome
I have installed, it is working flawless.
No change log, things i have noticed:
1. New Nav Icon.
2. Fixed keyboard, $ added symbol.
3. MUCH faster Android Auto, smother, snappier.
4. Support for new apps.

Please download, and re-upload to more mirror locations. I have uploaded to a free web hosting account therefore it will be slow to download.

Installation instructions:
1. Download.
2. Unzip.
3. Grab a USB Flash Drive, 4GB is fine.
4. Format the drive to either FAT or FAT32.
5. Put the extracted files inside the flash drive.
6. Turn car on.
7. Plug in car and profit !!!
***** Note that depending on your USB device it might take up to 10 minutes for the stereo to show "Updating System"... *****
Our car USB is NOT USB 3 therefore read speed is limited, so if you don't see anything, DO NOT unplug - just wait....
When i updated i drove on my way to work and it picked up after 7 minutes, it just take time to copy the files into the stereo RAM.

Hopefully the update can be applied without any issues to the NA version. I'll be on the lookout for yours and I'll test it.

For future reference, is there a way for us to see which country the update is originally intended for?

Glad I got to the party late, looking forwards to the US/North America version.

Just aheads up the version leaked is a CN gracenote version. I haven't noticed anything different when I played the radio, carplay, music, voice control but this is a China spec gracenote in case any of you are weary.

Hi, I just installed this version on my 2017 US non NAV Ecoboost from 2.0. It shows CN-0010 on Gracenote , I don't use it anyway as I am in Europe.
This is the first update that was successfully installed on my car , it was not possible to go on 2.2 due to multiple error messages.

But my Samsung A5 with 7.0 Android seems to don't work with it (can't see the navigation icon , as on 2.0 it showed for a few seconds when I connected the cable).

I can see a slight modification on the icons.
