NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

Has anyone else gotten this "fakepath" error? If so, how did you get past it?

I also have that issue when trying to verify the install. Updated my 2014 F150 at the same and didn't get the fakepath error.

I'm having issues with the install.

I started my update with a "manufacturer reset"
Then I plugged in the USB.
I drove to work which in over 30 mins.
The entire drive I only got a message that said "System is Updating"
No other indicators that anything is actually happening.
When I got to work, I unplugged the USB which said that installation would continue when I plugged the USB back in.
Ive tried several times I it seems to be giving me problems.

according to another site the non-nav files went from 2.2GB to just over 1GB; can anyone confirm this? are the other files the exact same but they just removed HN1T-14G391-BC.tar.gz?

New USB module arrived yesterday and I threw in the car this morning. Verified car play and everything else is working. Again, I have nav and used a 4GB FAT32 flash drive for the update. It took 15-20mins and I only put the car in the "on" position, never started it.

Same issue as everyone else updating the Ford website. Also attempted to create a "fakepath" folder on root of C, still failed. Your play Ford...

I went to ford's owners site and reDL the file, it is a different name now. Hopefully it will fix my small info issues.

nevermind, same file, my bad. Look different because i was downloading from my personal mac, not a windows.

So, removing the -BC tarball and the entry in the .lst and zipping the whole thing back up on my own (i may not have used exactly the same compression settings):

that sounds about right according to what someone said at a different site; not sure where he downloaded it from though; another person chimed in and said the language pack was removed

this new 17011 build fixed the contact-list-gliding-down-by-itself-bug for me so thats good.

they're still fixing issues im not surprized a new file is up for nonNavs
